Lousy customer service. They put you on a "list" for service or purchase and it goes into a black hole. You have no idea how long you have to wait. They tell you you're up next but that may be an hour. They are supposed to text you when you're up. But this doesn't happen. Horrible waste of time. Could be shopping or eating elsewhere during wait time and be happy but they keep telling you 10 minutes. Infuriating.
I sent Mom to this Apple Store to buy a new MacBook Pro. She brought my sister to get the student discount. Sales associate told Mom "the student discount only applies four months before September". Of course this is BS. They fed her BS because she is older than 20y/o and she's a woman. Just like a car repair shop. I expected better.
Refused to service an iMac because it was older than 6 years. I even offered to buy a new one. No dice. Talk about brand support and customer service! Very disappointing from a supposedly serious company. They were even rude about it when I told them I was not satisfied. Go to Ardmore. It is worth the drive for competent employees.
Called for support 5 minutes after store opened. First I got an automated response, was put on hold for 15 minutes and still no human! I'll go to Staples for my computer needs from now on...or Costco...anyplace is better than this Apple Store.
