I went there for a store pickup from an online order. The staff was friendlier than any customer service I've experienced in quite a while. I'm definitely making this my store if choice for all future purchases.
He then proceeds to mumble into his radio, does not tell me when my TV will be out, and does not make eye contact with me. By the time my TV comes, I've been waiting 40 minutes. How secure can this location be when its security guard does not remember faces, barely reads receipts, lets people walk out who set off the alarm, and treats customers like trash?
Dehumanizing customer service from a security guard named Eric. I spent $1400 at this location. On my way out, Eric checked my receipt while letting a man walk past me even though he set off the security alarm.
Could not make up my mind on which tablet to buy online so decided to go to a store in the hope to het some advise. I was very impressed that a friendly salesman approached me and asked if he could help. He was knowledgeable and could provide the insights I needed. There still is a place for the retail store after all.
I am never buying from this location again. Had this not been an anticipated purchase, I would have returned the TV immediately due to this disgusting treatment.
I bought a TV that needed to be brought out from the back so I pulled my car up to the curb and waited. 20 minutes later, I see it coming so I walk in. Eric stops me, tells me this is the first time he's seeing me, and does not allow me to get the TV. Instead, he says it's for the people who checked out after me (I know this because they were standing in line behind me). I argue that I've been waiting longer and he tells me it's a different TV than the one I bought (an insult to my ability to read). He ignores me, walks past me, and loads the exact TV I bought into their car.
Their Willow Grove location has outstanding customer service. I have gone here often. I purchased our latest flat screen here, 8 months later the sales agent still remembered who I was and asked how I was enjoying the product! Not only that, he stopped putting together the display he was working on (instead of just ignoring me like most places) to answer my many questions about the new XBox X, games, and other things I was looking at buying for Black Friday. When I finally made it up front they opened more registers because 2 people were in line. Yup, as far as Best Buy locations this is my favorite!
I realize it's the holiday season, so things won't always be in stock, but geez. Number one, they didn't have anything I was looking for. There were very few headphone models available as demos, which was highly disappointing. The micro SD card rack was picked clean. In the car stereo department, NONE of the demo speakers were working, NONE of the speakers in boxes had prices listed, and there wasn't an employee in sight to ask about it. In the gaming section, two out of three of the demo headsets were either broken or not hooked up to any audio. I left empty-handed, feeling cheated out of my time. It was a shame. I spotted some decent deals, though. That's something, at least, and the only reason I rated two stars instead of one.
