We walked in, not realizing that the store was already closed (their last customer was just walking out) and the staff was still warm and welcoming. They invited us in as if it were their home and told us that we weren't inconveniencing them (which I'm sure we totally were). They showed us their gorgeous inventory and were so friendly and open and fun! We had such a good time. The ring we wanted was the last in the store, but unfortunately, the gem stone had a large chip in it. The sales associates seemed appauled that it had slipped by them. They immediately began placing a special order for us--even though the ring was a clearance item and it probably wasn't going to get them much commission. Even with the set back of the damaged ring, overall, we were exstatic, and the wonderful experience was only made more poigniant when we went across the street to Jareds and were immediately bombarded and overwhelmed by two sales people who started off by trying to push Levian jewelry down our throats (btw, i used to work in a jewelry store and a "chocolate" diamond is a diamond that's only a half step up from a lump of coal. don't let them overcharge you for worthless crap just because it's from some ridiculous designer). Pulling out of the Jared's parking lot, my fiance and I breathed a sigh of relief and he turned to me and said, "Even if they both cost $1, I'd rather buy a tin ring from Helzberg than the Hope Diamond from Jareds". The quality of service was THAT extreme.
